Located in single pick-up distributors, this unit supplies the Spark Control Computer with information concerning engine speed and crankshaft location. The computer is able to supply proper maximum advance for any given engine condition through this signal. On Omni and Horizon, a Hall-Effect pick-up coil assembly is used.
