System Check Valves: Notes

In addition to vacuum reservoir tank check valve, there are two additional check valves in system. They are located in vacuum harness where harness routes under passenger side housing. For identification, these valves are numbered 1 and 2, with No. 1 being closest to vacuum harness dash grommet. On the body of each valve is an arrow which points to the port of valve being checked. Base of arrow designates side of valve connected to source vacuum. Malfunctions due to leaky or incorrectly installed check valves are as follows:
