System Calibration Test: Notes

The following procedure is to be used as a supplementary check out of servo and amplifier and is not necessarily used with standard preceding test procedures. It is primarily used on vehicles that do not respond to regular test and diagnosis procedures. Before resting servo end amplifier, set the following conditions:

  1. Connect C-4144 or C-4315 tester to service connector. Place voltmeter switch at Off and mode knob at A/C. Start engine and set RPM of 1100.
  2. Set temperature control Sever at "75" and depress "LO-AUTO" pushbutton.
  3. Check and test both sensors and potentiometer as previously outlined. Now set tester voltmeter switch at Servo-Amp.
