Fuel Pressure Regulator

  1. Hookup By-Pass Harness (P.N. 91.42) to operate fuel pumps. Hookup pressure gauge between inlet junction and injector ramp. Disconnect hose at fuel pressure regulator. Depress by-pass harness switch to operate fuel pumps.
  2. Record fuel pressure. Hookup a vacuum pump to fuel pressure regulator. Apply .5 bar. The fuel pressure must drop by .5 bar. For example, if the pressure was 2.5 bars, subtract the .5 bar and the result would be 2.0 bars. If these values were not obtained, replace fuel pressure regulator.
