Control ELECTROVALVES: Resistance
- Using an ohmmeter, check resistance between ECU terminals No. 1 and 11. Resistance should be less than one ohm. If resistance is one ohm or more, check continuity of wire between ECU terminal No. 11 and electrovalve. If there is continuity, check for wire grounding at electrovalve connector.
- Check continuity between ECU terminal No. 11 and the following: Nos. 15, 16, 17, 33, 34 and 35. Resistance at each terminal should be 3-7 ohms. If continuity is not as specified, check continuity of wire between ECU and electrovalve connector. See Figure . If wiring continuity is okay, replace electrovalve/master cylinder assembly and retest.
