EGR Vacuum Circuit

  1. Check for vacuum at EGR valve control port. if vacuum is present, EGR valve is faulty. If no vacuum is present to EGR valve, check vacuum to EGR electrovalve. If vacuum is present, EGR electrovalve is faulty.
  2. If vacuum is not present to electrovalve, check for vacuum at output port of vacuum regulator. If vacuum is present, check hoses and vacuum reservoir.
  3. If no vacuum is present at output of vacuum regulator check input to vacuum regulator. If vacuum is present at input, vacuum regulator is faulty. If vacuum is not present, check components and hoses between regulator and vacuum pump.
