Steering Columns: Description

NOTE: Procedures covering Peugeot 604 steering column not available.

Steering column consists of an upper and lower steering shaft connected by a universal joint. Steering shaft utilizes a rubber flexible coupling at its lower end to help absorb road shocks. Mounted on steering column are a steering lock, headlight dimmer/washer switch and turn signal/horn switch.
