Lower Control Valve Body Assembly: Installation
- Place the lower controls assembly over the forward support studs. The bolts (958) without the flange are located next to the oil transfer plate. See Figure .
- Hand start the bolts into the channel plate. Install the 2 nuts (955) on the forward support studs.
- Place the oil transfer plate (956) over the open gasket area. See Figure .
- Position the lower control valve body wire harness retaining clips (943). See Figure .
- Hand start the bolts (534) to hold the oil transfer plate (956) in place with the lower control valve body wire harness retaining clips (943) attached properly. See Figure . Tighten the bolts and nuts (534) to 6-10 ft. lbs. (8-14 N.m).
- Insert the manual valve link into the inside detent lever. Clip the manual valve link retainer onto the manual valve link.
- Connect the wire harness extension to the wire harness assembly.
- Install the bottom pan and seal, the scavenger screens, and the lip seals.
