Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front door trim panel. Refer to TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (OLDSMOBILE)  or TRIM PANEL REPLACEMENT - SIDE FRONT DOOR (PONTIAC)  .
  2. Remove the front door water deflector. Refer to WATER DEFLECTOR REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  3. Remove the front door window. Refer to WINDOW REPLACEMENT - FRONT DOOR  .
  4. Remove the front door rear view mirror. Refer to MIRROR REPLACEMENT  .
  5. Remove the channel lower bolt (4).
  6. Remove the push-in retainer (2) at the top of the channel.
  7. Remove the window run channel weather-strip (3) from the front door window.
