Turn Signal and Multifunction Switch Assembly - Assemble - Off Vehicle

NOTE: Refer to FASTENER NOTICE
  1. Install the turn signal and multifunction switch assembly (2) and secure by using 2 pan head tapping screws (1).

    Tighten 

    Tighten the screws to 7 N.m (62 lb in).

    CAUTION: Refer to SIR INFLATOR MODULE COIL CAUTION
  2. Route the wire harness assembly (1) along the steering column jacket assembly.
  3. Insert the wire harness assembly (1) firmly into the wire harness strap (2).

  4. Install the wire harness straps (2) to the upper tilt head assembly (1).

    Install the wire harness strap (2) onto the wire harness assembly.

  5. Install the upper and lower trim covers. Refer to Steering Column Trim Covers - Assemble - Off Vehicle 
  6. Enable the inflatable restraint steering wheel module. Refer to ACTIVATING SYSTEM in SIR.
