Vehicle Speed Sensor: Installation

Install the O-ring seal (3) on the vehicle speed sensor (1). Coat the O-ring seal (3) with a thin film of transmission fluid. Install the vehicle speed sensor (1) into the transmission case. See Figure . Install and tighten the bolt to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  . Connect the wiring harness electrical connector to the vehicle speed sensor. Fill transmission with appropriate fluid to proper level. See LUBRICATION  .
