WARNING:
Vehicle is equipped with Supplemental Inflatable Restraint (SIR) system. When servicing vehicle, use care to avoid accidental air bag deployment. SIR system-related components are located in various locations throughout interior and exterior of vehicle, depending on application. Do not use electrical test equipment on or near these circuits. If necessary, deactivate SIR system before servicing components. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article in RESTRAINTS.
The windshield wiper/washer system consists of 2-speed wiper motor and transmission module, wiper arm and blade assemblies, washer pump, washer fluid reservoir and wiper/washer switch. Wiper/washer system operates in 4 different modes, WASH, MIST, DELAY, LO and HI. When wiper switch is turned OFF, wiper motor returns wipers to park position. Voltage is applied to accessory voltage circuit when ignition is in ACCESSORY or RUN position. Wiper motor is equipped with Radio Frequency Interference (RFI) suppression.
