Remote Keyless Entry Transmitter RESYNCHRONIZATION

NOTE: Remote Keyless Entry (RKE) transmitter may need to be resynchronized due to the security method used by RKE system. RKE transmitter does not send same signal twice to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR). RCDLR will not respond to a signal that has been sent previously. This prevents anyone from recording and playing back a signal from RKE transmitter. Resynchronization may be necessary under following conditions: battery in transmitter is very weak, battery in transmitter has been replaced or battery in vehicle has been in a low or no charge condition for an extended period of time.

To resynchronize RKE transmitter with remote control door lock receiver. Press and hold RKE transmitter LOCK and UNLOCK buttons for 7 seconds while standing within vehicle range, horn will sound 3 times when resynchonization is successful. Repeat procedure for each RKE transmitter to be resynchronized.
