System Operation Check

  1. Operate heated seat switch. Heated seat should warm. Heated seat should turn off when commanded to by heated seat switch. If heated seat does not operate correctly, see appropriate SYSTEM TESTS  .
  2. Move seat adjuster switch in any direction. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in any direction, see TEST D: POWER SEAT INOPERATIVE  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  3. Move seat adjuster switch to forward and rearward positions. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST E: POWER SEAT DOES NOT MOVE FORWARD OR REARWARD  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  4. Move seat adjuster switch to move front of seat up and down. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST F: POWER SEAT DOES NOT TILT FORWARD  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  5. Move seat adjuster switch to move rear of seat up and down. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST G: POWER SEAT DOES NOT TILT REARWARD  under SYSTEM TESTS.
  6. Move seat adjuster switch to recline seatback forward and rearward. Seat should move in direction selected. If seat does not move in these directions, go to TEST H: POWER SEAT DOES NOT RECLINE  under SYSTEM TESTS.
