Removal Procedure

NOTE: When the hood is removed from the vehicle, do not stand the hood on the rear corners. Damage to the paint and sheet metal may occur.

Open and support the hood.
Mark the upper hood hinge location to the hood with a grease pencil.
Remove the bolts from the upper hood hinge with an assistant.
Remove the hood from the vehicle with an assistant.
