DTC B1334: Device Power No. 2 (Low Current) Circuit Open: Testing

  1. Perform BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK  . Go to next step.
  2. Connect scan tool to DLC. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. In BCM input data list, monitor battery power 2 parameter. If both parameters show as active, go to DIAGNOSTIC AIDS  . If both parameters do not show as active, go to next step.
  3. Check for open or poor connection in circuit that does not display as active. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Repair as necessary. After repair go to step  6 . If circuit is okay, go to next step.
  4. Check for poor terminal contact art BCM harness connector. Repair as necessary. After repair go to step  6 . If terminal contact is okay, go to next step.
  5. Replace BCM. See BODY CONTROL MODULE (BCM)  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Perform new BCM setup. See NEW BCM SETUP  under PROGRAMMING. After programming BCM, go to next step.
  6. Clear DTCs. Operate vehicle within conditions that will cause DTC to set. Check DTCs. If DTC B1334 resets, go to step  2 . If DTC does not reset, system is okay at this time.
