Removal & Installation (Century & Regal)

  1. Remove wiper arms. See WIPER ARMS  . Remove air inlet screen. Disconnect wiper motor electrical connector. Using Separator (J-39232), disconnect wiper transmission assembly from crank arm. Remove 3 screws and wiper drive system module.
  2. Remove 4 grommets from tube frame. Remove 2 caps from wiper transmission assembly. Remove 4 screws and wiper transmission assembly from tube frame. Remove wiper motor assembly and crank arm from tube frame. To install, reverse removal procedure. Using Installer (J-39529), install wiper transmission assembly onto crank arm. Check wipers for proper operation.
