Remote Activation Verification Customization

NOTE: If the ignition switch is moved to the OFF position or any vehicle door is opened during this procedure, the remote activation verification customization will terminate. The system will remain in the most recent mode.
  1. Remove the MALL PGM fuse from the fuse panel.
  2. Turn the ignition to the ACC position. The seat belt telltale flashes and the chime bongs 1-4 times, equal to the current customization mode. This indicates which mode the vehicle is in. Each time the transmitter LOCK button is pressed, the mode number will advance. A transition past mode 4 will repeat starting again at mode one. The Remote Activation Verification (RAV) modes are:
    • Mode 1-Disabled
    • Mode 2-Headlamps Only
    • Mode 3-Horn and Headlamps
    • Mode 4-Press Headlamps Only
  3. To customize other features, customize the features before reinstalling the MALL PGM fuse into the fuse panel. Turn the ignition OFF in order to EXIT or to SAVE the current customization.
  4. Replace the MALL PGM fuse back into the fuse panel.
