Window Regulator: Installation

  1. Install the regulator to the door.
  2. Install the window regulator to door mounting bolts in the following sequence. lower rear (1), upper rear (2), lower front (3) & upper front (4). See Fig 1 . Tighten the front window regulator to door bolts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
  3. Install the 3 window regulator motor mounting bolts. Tighten the window regulator motor bolts to 89 INCH lbs. (10 N.m).
  4. Connect the electrical connector.
  5. Remove the tape from the front door window and lower the window onto the window regulator carrier plate.
  6. Install the window to regulator bolts. See Fig 2 .
  7. Install the front door water deflector. See WATER DEFLECTOR  .
  8. Install the front door inner trim panel. See DOOR TRIM PANEL  .
