DTC B2739: Key-In-Ignition Fault: Description

BCM receives voltage from IGN0 input (circuit No. 1500) and ground from ground connector G203 when ignition switch is turned to RUN position. Engine will start only when BCM recognizes signal from key in ignition and sees correct resistor code from ignition lock cylinder.

BCM will set DTC is it does not detect a ground in circuit No. 80 (Light Green wire) for longer than 0.3 second. Current DTC will clear when correct Passlock(tm) sensor ground signal is read. If conditions for malfunction no longer exist, history DTC will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles.
