Instrument Panel - Analog: Description

WARNING: Deactivate air bag system before performing any service operation. See appropriate AIR BAG RESTRAINT SYSTEMS article. DO NOT apply electrical power to any component on steering column without first deactivating air bag system. Air bag may deploy.

The instrument panel cluster uses an analog speedometer (with stepper motor-driven odometer), fuel gauge, coolant temperature gauge and tachometer. Warning indicators include: oil pressure, volts, engine hot, anti-lock, air bag, brake, lights on, traction off, traction active, security, check engine, fasten belts, low coolant, low wash, low fuel, check oil, high beam, turn signal and exterior lighting indicators. A microprocessor is part of instrument cluster assembly. Instrument panel cluster has diagnostic capabilities and will store Diagnostic Trouble Codes (DTCs).
