Circuit Description

PCM can disable Cruise Control (C/C) if conditions are detected which make C/C operation undesirable. If C/C status signal indicates C/C is engaged when PCM is inhibiting C/C operation, DTC P1554 is set.

Conditions required to set DTC are:

• PCM is inhibiting C/C operation
• C/C status signal indicates C/C is engaged.
• Conditions present longer than one second.
