UTD System
- Ensure parking lights, low beam headlights, horn and electrical door locks operate. Check SECURITY indicator by ensuring headlights and parking lights are off. Open a window to unlock a door without using a key. SECURITY indicator should not illuminate.
- Check UTD system fuses. Check 15-amp HORN fuse in instrument panel fuse block. Check 10-amp MISC/RDO/CLSTR 9C fuse (Buick and Pontiac) or 10-amp PCM 8 fuse (Oldsmobile) in instrument panel fuse block. If system is intermittent, check component connectors for tight connections and clean terminals.
