Circuit Description

When any button on keyless entry transmitter is pressed, a radio frequency signal is sent to Remote Control Door Lock Receiver (RCDLR). RCDLR then decides which message to send the BCM (according to which button was pressed), which will allow BCM to operate door lock actuators, courtesy lights or remote alarm.

DTC will set when BCM detects a short to ground in circuit No. 917 (Black wire) for longer than 0.3 second. No driver warning message will be displayed.

If conditions for malfunction no longer exist, history DTC will clear after 100 consecutive ignition cycles. DTC B2802 will also clear when conditions for malfunction no longer exist or scan tool is used to clear codes.
