Removal & Installation: Support: Installation
- Position the rear suspension support in place.
- Install the rear wheel spindle rod-to-rear suspension support bolts and nuts. Torque the rear wheel spindle rod-to-rear suspension support nuts to 103 ft. lbs. (140 N.m).
- Install the rear suspension support mounting bolts. Torque to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Position the rear wheel spindle rod to the knuckle. Install the retaining bolts and nuts to the knuckle.
- Connect the brake hoses to the rear suspension support.
- Install the parking brake cables and the tensioner.
- Install the stabilizer shaft brackets to the rear suspension support.
- Install the stabilizer shaft bracket bolts to the rear suspension support.
- Install the stabilizer shaft-to-stabilizer shaft link nuts. Torque to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the stabilizer shaft to the rear suspension support.
- Install the stabilizer shaft insulator bracket bolt. Torque to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Adjust the rear wheel alignment. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES -- CARS -- EXCEPT .
NOTE:
Insert the bracket bolts facing rearward. Do not tighten the bolts at this time.
