Removal & Installation: Strut: Installation
CAUTION:
Care should be taken to avoid chipping or scratching the coating when handling the suspension coil spring. Damage to the coating can cause premature failure.
- Install the strut into place.
- Install the strut to knuckle bolts (2). See Figure. Torque to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Connect the stabilizer shaft link to the strut. See STABILIZER SHAFT LINK .
- Install the tire and wheel.
- Install the 3 strut-to-body mount nuts. Torque to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
- Lower the vehicle.
- Adjust the rear wheel alignment. See SPECIFICATIONS & PROCEDURES -- CARS -- EXCEPT .
