Strut Assembly: Removal

  1. Raise and support vehicle.
  2. Remove wheel and tire.
  3. Remove the strut-to-shock tower upper nuts.
  4. Scribe the strut to the knuckle. See STRUT & KNUCKLE SCRIBING  unde ON-VEHICLE SERVICING.
  5. Remove the strut lower bolts and nuts.
  6. Remove the strut.
