Both Mirrors Inoperative

  1. Check POWER MIRRORS fuse (10-amp) located in fuse block. If POWER MIRRORS fuse is not open, go to next step. If POWER MIRRORS fuse is open, repair short to ground in Orange wire between fuse block and power mirror switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation.
  2. Using test light, backprobe between power mirror switch connector terminal "G" (Orange wire) and ground. If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair poor connection or open in Orange wire between fuse block and power mirror switch. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation.
  3. Using test light, backprobe between power mirror switch connector terminals "G" (Orange wire) and "B" (Black wire). If test light illuminates, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate, repair poor connection or open in Black wire between power mirror switch and ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS  . Recheck system operation.
  4. Check for poor connections at power mirror switch connector. Repair as necessary. If connections are okay, replace power mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
