PASSLock(R) SYSTEM CHECK

  1. Turn ignition on. If SECURITY indicator illuminates for 5 seconds then goes out, go to next step. If engine does not crank and SECURITY indicator does not illuminate, go to TEST 1. If engine does not crank or cranks but does not start and SECURITY indicator illuminates for 5 seconds then goes out, go to TEST 2.
  2. Ensure vehicle is in PARK. Turn ignition to START. If SECURITY indicator stays on, go to TEST 3. If SECURITY indicator flashes, go to TEST 4. If SECURITY indicator does not illuminate and starts, go to TEST 5. If vehicle starts and SECURITY indicator illuminates for 5 seconds then goes out, system is okay.
