Diagnostic Procedures
- If BCM diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If BCM diagnostic system check was not performed, see procedures in BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect BCM harness connector C2. Using DVOM, check resistance between ground and BCM harness connector terminal B1 (White wire). See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, go to step 4).
- Repair short to ground in circuit No. 156 (White wire). After repairs, go to step 7).
- Check continuity in circuit No. 156 (White wire). If continuity is present, go to next step. If continuity is not present, go to step 6).
- Replace BCM. Perform new BCM setup. See BCM PROGRAMMING . After programming BCM, go to step 7).
- Repair poor connection or open in circuit No. 156 (White wire). After repairs, go to next step.
- Turn ignition off. Reinstall all components and connectors. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Using scan tool, clear DTCs. After clearing DTCs, perform BCM DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
