Test No. 8: Washer Does Not Operate
- Disconnect washer pump connector. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Connect test light between washer pump connector terminals. While observing test light, activate washer switch. If test light is off, go to next step. If test light is on, check for poor wiring connection at washer pump. If connection is okay, replace washer pump.
- Connect test light between ground and Red wire at washer pump connector. Activate washer switch. If test light is off, go to next step. If test light is on, check for open in Black wire between washer pump and ground. Repair as necessary.
- Check for poor connection between 13-pin connector and 48-pin connector. If connectors are okay, replace wiper/washer switch.
