Charge Indicator Light Always On
- Connect scan tool. Start engine. Using scan tool, check system voltage. If voltage is more than 10.6 volts, go to next step. If voltage is 10.6 volts or less, go to step 4).
- Turn ignition off. Disconnect PCM connector C2. Turn ignition on. If charge indicator is still on, go to next step. If charge indicator is off, go to step 5).
- Check circuit between PCM and instrument panel for short to ground. See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
- Load check generator. Replace as needed. Recheck system.
- Repair open or poor PCM connection at connector C2. Recheck system.
