DTC B2533: Front FOGLIGHT Relay Output Short To Battery: Description

BFC uses circuit No. 1317 (Dark Green/White wire) to ground front foglight relay. DTC B2533 will set when parking lights are commanded on (manually or using ALC function), BFC enables front foglight option, Ignition 1 is active and front foglight relay output is on. When DTC B2533 is set, front foglight will turn off. DTC B2533 can be cleared when fault state is exited when status of front foglight returns to OFF. DTC B2533 can also be cleared using scan tool, or history DTC will disappear after 100 ignition cycles if fault conditions do not reoccur.
