Diagnostic Aids

Check rear foglight switch for sticking in ON position. Scan tool reads class 2 messages with ignition switch in RUN position. Use DVOM to compare scan tool values to actual values. Perform visual checks of wiring, fuses and harness connectors for intermittent, open and poor connections.
