UTD System
- Ensure parking lights, low beam headlights, horn and electrical door locks operate. Check SECURITY indicator by ensuring headlights and parking lights are off. Open a window to unlock a door without using a key. SECURITY indicator should not illuminate.
- Check UTD system fuses. Check 10-amp IGN 1 fuse in right rear junction block. Check 10-amp CHIME fuse (Oldsmobile) or 10-amp IGN 1 fuse (Buick) in instrument panel fuse block. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . If system is intermittent, check component connectors for tight connections and clean terminals.
