One Mirror Does Not Move Up & Down

Using test light, backprobe between specified left front outside mirror switch terminals. See TESTING OUTSIDE MIRROR SWITCH UP/DOWN CIRCUITS . Using mirror select switch, select appropriate mirror. Operate left front outside mirror switch up, then down. If test light illuminates in both positions, go to next step. If test light does not illuminate in both positions, go to step 3).

Operate left front outside mirror switch up, then down. If test light illuminates in both positions, go to step 4). If test light does not illuminate in both positions, go to step 5).

Replace left front outside mirror switch. See POWER MIRROR SWITCH under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
Replace up/down mirror motor. To remove power mirror assembly, see POWER MIRROR ASSEMBLY under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Recheck system operation.
Repair open or short to ground in appropriate wire. See WIRING DIAGRAMS . Recheck system operation.
