Air Bag Indicator Lights Continuously With No Loss Of Serial Data
- Using scan tool, monitor Sensing and Diagnostic Module (SDM). If SDM is commanding air bag indicator ON, see AIR BAG SERVICE article in ACCESSORIES/SAFETY EQUIP section.
- If SDM is commanding air bag indicator OFF, check for short to ground in Brown wire between SDM and instrument cluster. Repair as necessary. If air bag indicator is still illuminated, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT PANEL article.
