DTC B1374, Ignition 1 With Engine Running
- If BFC diagnostic system check was performed, go to next step. If BFC diagnostic system check was not performed, go to BFC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
- Disconnect BFC 24-pin Gray connector C2, terminal B9 (Pink wire). Using DVOM, check voltage between BFC harness connector C2, terminal B9 (Pink wire) and ground. If battery voltage exists, go to next step. If battery voltage does not exist, go to step 6).
- Check for poor connection at BFC connector C2, terminal B9 (Pink wire). If a poor connection exists, go to next step. If connection is okay, go to step 5).
- Repair poor connection at BFC connector C2, terminal B9 (Pink wire). Go to step 11).
- Replace BFC. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION . Go to step 11).
- Disconnect underhood bussed electrical center 68-pin Brown connector C3, terminal C4 (Pink wire). Using DVOM, check resistance between BFC harness connector C2, terminal B9 (Pink wire) and underhood bussed electrical center harness connector C3, terminal C4 (Pink wire). If resistance is zero ohms, go to step 8). If resistance is not zero ohms, go to next step.
- Repair open in Pink wire between BFC connector C2 and underhood bussed electrical center connector C3. Go to step 11).
- Check for a poor connection at underhood bussed electrical center connector C3, terminal C4 (Pink wire). If a poor connection exists, go to next step. If connection is okay, go to step 10).
- Repair poor connection at underhood bussed electrical center connector C3, terminal C4 (Pink wire). Go to step 11).
- Replace underhood bussed electrical center connector. Go to next step.
- Clear DTCs. Perform BFC DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM CHECK .
