Use these charts to identify problems in the ABS self-diagnostic system.

NOTE: Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart. To identify circuits and terminals referenced in text and flowcharts, see WIRING DIAGRAM .

Checks if EBCM is transmitting data.
Checks for a serial data line malfunction.
Checks for proper Tech 1 connection to DLC.
Checks for open ABS 3-amp fuse.
Checks for open ABS 3-amp fuse.
Checks for high resistance in EBCM ground circuit.
Checks for current ABS DTCs.
Checks for proper ABS warning light operation.
Checks for stored history ABS DTCs.
