Fuel Pump: Installation

  1. Inspect sealing surfaces on fuel tank and fuel sender assembly. Install new gasket and install fuel sender assembly. Install lock ring. Attach quick-connect fittings and electrical connector. Connect negative battery terminal. Turn ignition ON for 2 seconds, OFF for 10 seconds, then ON again and check for fuel leaks.
  2. Install access panel, trunk carpet, spare tire, jack and spare tire cover.
