Code 57, Trans. Temperature Sensor High Temperature: Notes
Code will set if sensor voltage indicates temperature greater than 148°C for 5 seconds.
NOTE:
Test numbers refer to numbers on diagnostic chart.
- Checks for shorted sensor wire.
- Checks PCM and connectors.
- Checks sensor signal circuit inside transaxle for short to ground. If circuit is okay, replace temperature sensor.
