Pass-Key II System Check

  1. If engine cranks but does not start, perform ENGINE CRANKS BUT DOES NOT START test. If engine cranks and starts, and indicator came on and went off after about 5 seconds, system is operating normally. If indicator never came on, perform SECURITY INDICATOR DOES NOT TURN ON test. If indicator stays on at all times, perform ENGINE CRANKS & STARTS, & SECURITY INDICATOR STAYS ON test. If indicator flashes on and off at all times, perform SECURITY INDICATOR EITHER FLASHES OR STAYS ON ALL THE TIME test.
  2. If engine does not crank or start, and indicator never comes on, perform SECURITY INDICATOR DOES NOT TURN ON test. If indicator comes on then goes off after about 5 seconds, perform ENGINE DOES NOT CRANK OR START & SECURITY INDICATOR COMES ON & GOES OFF AFTER ABOUT 5 SECONDS test. If indicator flashes or indicator stays on at all times, perform SECURITY INDICATOR EITHER FLASHES OR STAYS ON AT ALL TIMES test.
