Control Unit: Removal
Disconnect negative battery cable. Unplug connectors from PCM. See Figure . Remove PCM from vehicle. Remove PROM and CALPAC (if equipped) or MEM-CAL from PCM. See CALPAC , MEM-CAL , or PROGRAMMABLE READ-ONLY MEMORY (PROM) .
