Park Lock Cable Adjustment

NOTE: Lock cylinder MUST be in RUN position when park lock cable is removed from or inserted into lock cylinder housing.
  1. Place shift lever in PARK position. If park lock cable is not already inserted into lock cylinder housing, turn cylinder to RUN position. Insert cable in housing until locking tab engages housing. See Fig 1 .
  2. Unlock park lock cable adjuster at base of shift lever (pull locking button up). Turn lock cylinder to LOCK position. Pull cable sheathing toward lock cylinder housing to remove slack. Release sheathing. Lock park lock cable adjuster (push locking button down).
