Code BS01, Program Number
During trouble shooting, BCM override feature allows testing of certain system functions regardless of normal program instructions. Upon selecting a test, current operation selection will be represented as a percentage of its full range.
On non-CRT models, pressing COOL or WARM button will decrease or increase override value. See Figure. On CRT models, pressing SLEW on keypad will increase or decrease override value. See Figure.
On all models, program number can be increased until a value of 99 is reached or decreased until a value of 0 is reached. Normal program control can be achieved in 3 ways: selection of another override test will cancel current override, selection of another system will cancel current override or overriding value beyond values given to particular system.
Override feature or test type is unique because other test types within selected system may be active at same time. After selection of override test, pressing fan-speed button on non-CRT panel (LEVL on CRT keypad) will select another test type. Control panel continues to display selected override. When selecting another test type, monitoring effect of override on different vehicle parameters is possible.
