Cruise Control Cable Adjustment

NOTE: DO NOT stretch cable assembly to secure a particular tab hole. If cable is stretched, engine will not return to idle speed.

Remove air cleaner housing and throttle body intake ducts. Remove retainer at cruise control servo blade. Disconnect cruise control cable at cruise control servo blade. Ensure throttle lever is at rest position. Install cruise control servo cable to hole in servo blade that leaves minimum cable slack. Install retainer at cruise control servo blade. Retainer must be installed with tang secured over cable stud head. Reinstall air cleaner housing and throttle body intake ducts.
