Code A044 - Left Front Channel Will Not Move: Notes

This test is designed to detect bound-up ESB, a stuck motor or seized hydraulic modulator during initialization. When release is commanded during initialization, ESB should release motor, resulting in sensed current being less than commanded current (motor is spinning freely). If motor is not moving, sensed current will be equal to stalled current.

1. This step tests for motor movement while positioning brake pedal at top of travel.
2. This step releases motor pack tension before removal.
3. This step isolates fault to either the motor pack or ABS hydraulic modulator.
