When trouble shooting a malfunction, ECM and BCM output cycling can be actuated regardless of inputs and normal program instructions. Once a test is selected, except for ECM Idle Air Control (IAC), test will display "HI" or "LO" for 3 seconds in each state to indicate command and output terminal voltage.
