D: ECM Signal Test 2

Measure voltage at the PASS KEY DECODER MODULE CONNECTOR (disconnected). The condition should be with the ignition switch in the RUN position.

D: ECM SIGNAL TEST 2(1)

Measure Between Correct Voltage For Diagnosis
A2 (Dark Blue) & Ground 5 Volts See 1
(1) If voltage is correct, check for good contact between the PASS Key Decoder Module and its connector. If contact is good, replace the PASS Key Decoder Module.
  1. Check Dark Blue (229) wire for an open or a short to ground. If wires are good, see Chart C-1.
