Headlight Switch Test

  1. Check for battery voltage at Red wire terminal of headlight switch connector. If no voltage is present, check fusible link and wire.
  2. If battery voltage is present, turn on headlight switch. Check for battery voltage at Yellow wire terminal of headlight switch connector with connector intact.
  3. If battery voltage is present, switch is okay. If battery voltage is not present, check for poor connection at headlight switch connector. If connections are okay, replace headlight switch.
